Part 1: Emily's bridal fun and Hurricane Irene (AKA my weekend at home)

Emily's bachelorette party was great. The 90s limo with Sam as our driver was really fun.

Saturday, I made it home just in time for the hurricane to hit. We sat around with the lights flickering until around 8:30 when they went out for good. My parents are on a well, so no electricity = no running water also. We had filled the tub with water so that we had water to wash dishes and flush toilets. It was an adventure! The winds were so strong on one end of the house, when I went to sleep that night, the house was shaking. Luckily we survived without any major damage.

Josie played dress up from my suitcase all weekend.

And Genevieve is getting so big!

Sunday was Emily's Bridal Shower. Hurricane Irene tried to ruin it but we persevered. Here's her and her mom.

Friday I ran 8 miles, yeah! Monday I ran 4, boo. I was supposed to run 17. My tummy gave me some troubles. I think I was a little toilet-shy in the morning (without a flush toilet) and then that came back to bite me in the butt!
